Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC)
AAC is a lightweight precast concrete building material that provides excellent structural, thermal, fire, termite and mould-resistance. AAC is manufactured from cement, sand, lime and water; it is aerated by adding an expanding agent to the mix. The mix is poured into a large mould and allowed to rise. These large soft blocks are sliced into the required panel sizes, and are then cured in a steam pressure autoclave for up to 12 hours.
